Following These 3 Things Will Save You On Judgement Day In The Light Of Islam!
“Indeed, the death from which you flee – indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do.” (62:08)
To believe in death and the afterlife is one of the essential tenants of Islam. Unless or until a Muslim does not believe in the concept of death and the life hereafter, they are neither true to themselves, nor to the religion. The Day of Judgment comes with the belief in life hereafter; how there will be heaven and hell.
“……Surely we are Allah’s, and to Him shall we return.” (2:156)
This ayah focuses on how Muslims need to have a firm belief on the fact that Allah is our Creator, who made us and we will die one day and return to Him.
The Quran and Sunnah Are the Complete Guidelines to How We Need to Spend Our Lives
Which is why to save ourselves on the Day of Judgment, Allah, His book and His messengers have shown us the deeds that can safeguard us.
1. Being Good to People
Haqooq Al-Ibaad holds great importance in Quran and on the Judgement Day, Allah will access us on how we good or bad we were to His mankind. A Muslim is told to be good to people even if they are non-followers of Allah. There are rights for every core relation – rights of a husband, of a wife, of parents, of children, of neighbors and relatives. Allah will see how good or bad we were to them.
2. The Five Pillars of Islam
The five instructions given to Muslims are something they need to oblige with the most, as per the instructions of Allah. A Muslim must believe and observe in the five pillars of Islam throughout their life. The Oneness of Allah, offering prayers five times a day, fasting in the month of Ramadan, observing and giving Zakat and finally, visiting the home of Allah at the pillars Muslims need to abide by.
3. Fulfilling Sunnah
The presence of the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAWW mirrors how practically, Muslims need to meet follow the things narrated by Allah and in the Quran. If a Muslim wishes to have a good day on the Judgment day, then he or she also needs to fulfill the Sunnahs of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Allah is kind and He cares about His people – there are more ways to seek forgiveness from Allah before the sudden day of judgment. May Allah guide us all to the right path, Ameen.
