According To Islam, Here’s How You Can Break A ‘Black Magic’ Curse

Islam, considered to be perfect among all other religions, works in a system and a protocol. Just as for every action there’s an equal and opposite reaction, Islam too brings forth elements to counter negativity that may prevail in our lives. The scourge of evil-eye (nazr-e-bad) and black magic too, has counters, in the form of ayats and duas.
These are the short ayats and duas you need to recite in order to protect yourself and the people close to you.

First and foremost, narration of Allah Almighty’s name

It was narrated from al-Haarith al-Ash’ari that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allah commanded Yahya ibn Zakariyah (PBUH) five things to follow and to enjoin upon the Children of Israel… and he commanded them to remember Allaah, and the likeness of that is a man who was being pursued by the enemy until he reached a strong fortress in which he found protection; similarly a man cannot find protection from Shaitan except by remembering Allaah…”

Reciting the Ayat-al-Kursi [Al-Baqarah 2:255]

Everyday preferably thrice morning and evening. For example, whenever you get up and as soon as Maghrib falls or you can also read it once. There is no limit or restriction so as to how many times one should recite it.

Recitation of:  Surah-al-Ikhlas, Surah-al-Falaq, and Surah-al-Nas

These Surahs need to be recited three times each, in the morning and in the evening.

Recitation of 10 verses from Surah-al-Baqarah

It is related by Imaam-ad-Daarimee in his Sunan as #3382 and #3383 from ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ood, May Allah be pleased with him, it has been ruled as being marf’oo that he said:
   “Whoever recites ten verses from Sooratul-Baqarah at night time the Shaitan can not enter the house that evening until the morning, (i.e ) the first four verses of Sooratul-Baqarah, Aayat-ul-Kursee and the two verses after it, in addition to the three last verses of Soorat-ul-Baqarah beginning with: {…To Allah belongs what is in the heavens…}

The following Ayaths from the Holy Quran:

“Hasbi Allaahu laa ilaaha illa huwa, ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa Rabb ul-‘arsh il-‘azeem (Allaah is sufficient for me. none has the right to be worshipped but He. in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne)
“Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer”
“Bismillaah alladhi laa yadurr ma’a ismihi shay’un fi’l-ardi wa laa fi’l-samaa’i wa huwa al-samee’ al-‘aleem”
“Bi kalimaat Allaahi ttaammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli ‘aynin laammah (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil eye).”
“A’oodhu bi kalimaatiAllaah hitaammahti min sharri ma khalaq”

Recitation of Surah-al-Fateha

Recite Surah-al-Fateha, 41 times in continuity, at least 3 times a day. Surah-al-Yaseen, three times a day. Surah-al-Mulq, once.

Yes, the evil eye and black magic do exist. The above stated religious approach is the only way out of these troubles. To be a good Muslim, the first step is to believe in what Islam teaches us. Here’s to hoping all our troubles vanish completely.
