The Importance Of Women Has Been Greatly Highlighted In Islam!
“A woman with a voice is by definition a strong woman.”
Women! A mother, daughter, wife, sister, best friend and probably every time a shoulder to cry on. In Islam, men and women are moral equals in God’s sight. It is also expected that women fulfil the same duties of worship, prayers, faith, fasting and pilgrimage as men.
Nonetheless, Islam generally approved the status of women. Women started contributing to the canonization of the Quran; they prayed in mosques unsegregated from men, were involved in hadith transmission, and were encouraged to seek knowledge.
Muhammad’s wife Aishah (R.A), had a well-known authority in medicines, history and rhetoric. If I reopen the historical record, it will show that Muhammad consulted women and weighed their opinions seriously.
“Islam has raised the status of a woman from below the earth to so high that paradise lies at her feet.”
In Pakistan and other many countries, women are not only subjected to economic discrimination but are also a victim of inhuman customs. In our society, generally, humans are perceived to be confined to their houses in a lightly controlled society. However, there is a marked difference in women’s lives in urban and rural areas.
“You can tell the condition of a nation by looking at the status of its women.”
It is common talk that women constitute half of the society and that the society should not neglect them, leave then idle, maltreat them nor dissolve their rights. Many thinkers, preachers and reformers have talked about doing women justice, treating them with respect and the abolition of forms; of unfairness and repression towards them, so that they can have her rightful access to learning, work, responsibility and choice in marriage.
Some women did not find it enough; they wanted the right of sexual permissiveness, homosexuality, unrestricted abortion, rebellion against the family and disregard of values of religion and society. They are not born to be raped or abused.
“Women are always beautiful.”
All women are beautiful, regardless of their looks. You just need to touch their soul with respect and appreciation for their inner beauty and you will be rewarded with joy. The heart is way more important than the package. Women are the greatest gift to man and we should cherish and protect them, each and every one.
With the advent of Islam her capacity to carry honour was restored. Islam confirmed her capacity to carry out Arab’s commands. Islam considered women as a worthy human being, with a share in humanity equal to that of the man. Both are two branches of a single tree and two children from the same father, Adam and mother Eve (Amma Hawwa).
“Men and women are so to speak, like a can and its lid.”
A unity that compromises the thing; one does not exist without the other. The Almighty Allah did not leave Adam alone, not even (self- sufficient enough) in Heaven.
Islam’s position on domestic violence is drawn from the Quran, prophetic practice (sunnah), and historical and contemporary legal verdicts (fatwas). There is no clearer prophetic saying about a husband’s responsibilities towards his wife than his response when asked:
“Give her food when you take food, clothe her when you clothe yourself, do not revile her face and do not beat her.”
It is the nature of every man that he desires beauty in a woman but he also admires modesty.
As we know, beauty fades but the character stays. After a while, the most beautiful woman looks average, but the pious increase in beauty each day. It is said to be strict to your woman but it is not that you show strictness on your power to your woman everywhere.
Muhammad further stressed the importance of kindness towards women in his farewell pilgrimage. He equated the violation of their martial rights to a branch of the couple`s covenant with God.
Islam allows an abused wife to claim compensation and ta`zir (discretionary corporal punishment). A Syrian jurist Ibn Abidin said ta`zir is mandatory for a: “Man who beats his wife excessively and breaks a bone burns skin, or bruises her skin.”
To conclude, I want to request all of the men to please be humble, loving and caring towards women.
There is no one as loyal as a woman if you treat her well. She is earthly creative not created. Don’t ever show your power to any woman. Allah SubhanwatAllah has made you stronger not to beat and create an illiterate environment, in fact, you are made stronger to take care of them.
Never think that a woman can be belittled, she is stronger than a man, what she actually needs is the support from men. So, it is my pleasing request that if any woman wants to live her life so, be the wings to her dreams, don’t cut her wings. If she is saying no to any guy, support her.
If she wants to study after marriage, be the admirer to her. She also had many dreams that she just left for you. I, Isbah Amjad, beseech to you that please respect women. They are created to be honoured and to be loved…
“Women are the crown of Islam.
